This is a custom insert that is designed to fit your Milwaukee Packout to store your M18 Multi-tool and accompanying kit. It specifically fits the Milwaukee 48228435 PACKOUT Compact Organizer.

Tool Placement Note:

You may notice the tool is slightly longer than the physical opening in the top of the case. In the past, some have cut chunks out of the top of their cases to fit the tool however, with this custom insert design, you don't need to do this! Through positioning the tool on the side of the case, the battery end of the skin can actually tuck in under the overhanging lip! As luck would have it, there's a bunch of room in this hollowed out section of the Packout.

You simply insert the tool battery end first and then lower the head down into the insert. You can see this demonstrated in the gallery above. This process is very easy and results in the tool sitting nice and secure! If you look at the demo in the gallery above, you simply make sure that the back-most portion of the tool rests in the center of the preexisting indentation/cut out in the top lip of the Packout.
